The Vice Chairperson of the Meyerton Taxi Association, Mr. Maduna was tragically gunned down following an alleged taxi violence saga that took place on Friday morning 23rd of August 2024 in Orange Farm near Letsheng mall.
According to eyewitnesses the deceased had already been shot from Palm Springs mall. Apparently, the deceased was chased from Springs by two man who are believed to be in their 20’s. The victim tried to flee the gunman on foot after getting out of his vehicle but unfortunately his escape was unsuccessful as he was further gunned down and lost his life.
The Police and the Paramedics were called to the crime scene after the dreadful event, the motive and the details surrounding the incident are still vividly unclear. SAPS is on a man hunt for the suspected perpetrators.
