Preparing to bring glory days back to Naturena this season, Kaizer Chiefs has been on spring of releasing players and signing new players who can turn the tables and bring prosperities for the kings of Cups in the coming Betway Premiership this season.

Amakhosi secured a three-year deal with Inacio Miguel Ferreira dos Santos last week Wednesday 21st of August 2024, who played for Petro de Luanda, one of the biggest team in the Angolan domestic league.

Miquel is the first Angolan international to sign for the glamour boys, he joins the newly recruited talents such as Bongani Sam, Gaston Sirino, Fiacre Ntwari from Cape Town Spurs, and Rushwin Dortley.

The Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr highlighted that the club is happy to have a player such as Miguel joining one of the biggest clubs in South Africa “We’ve watched him and believe his experience, skill and passion for the game embody the spirit of Kaizer Chiefs and will add a lot of positives in the team. We believe that he will contribute significantly with his talent and are looking forward to working with him as he writes another chapter of his career in South Africa.”

Inacio won the Angola’s 2023/2024 domestic league with Petro de Luanda and has represented the Angolan national team five times. The 28-year-old defender is set to make his mark in the black and gold jersey and help Chiefs strive to reclaim the glory days under the new leadership of the recently appointed head coach Nasredinne Nabi in the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
