The residents of Evaton extension 11 Kgutlo-Tharo ya Lekoa in the early hours of the morning on the 15th July 2024 at around 03:15 am, were awaken by multiple gunshots in what is suspected to be a robbery coming from the Engen garage near golden highway.
During the incident, garage personnel and customers filling their cars ran for cover on the ground when the shootout occurred resulting in one of the staff member sustaining injuries in the process.
One of the suspect was shot and killed by the garage armed security forces, SAPS was currently busy and conducting their investigation by the time of publishing.
